Director/Coordinator, IQAC
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is constituted in every institution under the Chairmanship of the Head of the Institution with heads of important academic and administrative units, a few teachers, a few distinguished educationists and representatives of local management and stakeholders. In our university, the first IQAC was constituted on 5 October, 2011 and the most recent one was on 29 September, 2022 as per the latest guidelines of NAAC. The prime task of IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, continuous, and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the university during the post-accreditation period to channelize all efforts and measures towards promoting its holistic academic excellence. The IQAC constituted in our university is working in this direction by setting the short-term and long-term goals in order to achieve the objectives of IQAC. Our university has completed the Cycle-I of the accreditation and soon going for the Cycle-II. While going for the second cycle, the university has taken the conscious decision to involve most of the faculty members in the preparation process for NAAC, which include the most important activity of preparing a Self-Study-Report (SSR). Various committees and sub-committees are constituted with the faculty members across all the departments of the University. I believe that the IQAC can achieve its objectives through short-term and long-term goals, more effectively, with the participative management approach.
